A new version of the Honda Insight is set to make its debut at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The company announced the sedan and SUV are both slated to arrive in 2018, and it is expected that the 2018 Insight will be the first sedan to arrive with a full-size, fully electric motor.
The Insight comes with a range of 250 miles on a single charge, and the automaker is planning to offer more fuel-saving options for the new vehicle.
Honda will also offer a range-extended plug-in hybrid version of its Insight sedan, and Honda’s upcoming SUV will offer an optional all-wheel drive system that offers a range increase of up to 40 miles per charge.
Honda also announced a new fuel-efficient plug-insport model, the Civic EV, which will offer up to 35 miles per gallon and can be charged by an auxiliary port located on the rear-view mirror.
The Honda Insight will start at $19,500 for the base model and $27,500 with the Civic package.
