Colorado’s Roadside Assistance Program helps thousands of people in need

COLORADO — Colorado State University and other agencies are providing help to hundreds of thousands of Colorado residents, many of them elderly and disabled, with roadside assistance programs.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says that Colorado’s National Roadside Safety Assistance Program, or NRSAP, has helped more than 3.7 million individuals and families with roadside help since its inception in 2007.

More than 3 million people have received help since the program was launched, and NRSap is now part of the state’s overall transportation system.
